"I loved it! I had a sea view and as expected the sunset was amazing from any angle of the hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast served here. The front desk staff were very professional & helpful. The location it's conveniently (15-minutes away from Funchal) if you decide not to rent a car since public transportation is reliable in the area, literally there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.... Well recommended. "

" Nicely situated on the sea front with rooms looking out onto the bathing pools below. The hotel has extra parking a few minutes walk away accessible with the room card. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was very nice with a good selection but seemed to be lacking a toaster. The room was comfortable and well maintained but smaller than we thought and was rather musty on arrival which cleared quickly once the windows were opened. We spent just a few nights here and I’m not sure if there was enough to do beyond that even though we had a car, very limited eating options in the resort but the restaurant at the hotel was very good. The resort lacked any nice little bars to stroll out to in the evening. Overall a nice short stay. "

"We loved staying at this hotel. The food was wonderful and the swimming pools were great. I also had a very relaxing massage in the spa. It was a brilliant experience to swim in the nearby lava pools ! We had a wonderful balcony room with sea view. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"Honestly, I thought this hotel was great. I enjoyed my room: clean, with a great shower and it had the benefit of a fridge and a balcony with sea-view. The daily room service was also appreciated. The hotel's team members were friendly and efficient. It had a decent in-house restaurant, but there was also the option of walking for no longer than 10 minutes to get to other restaurants. Good sized pool(s) with plenty of seating. "

"Our time at this resort was absolutely amazing! We were a little worried because of the mixed reviews but we had a great time. Some reviews said that the food was horrible, but keep in mind you are booking a fairly cheap all inclusive resort so you can't expect Michelin star dining. As not food critiques, we thought the food was great! We were worried because we saw in reviews that the all inclusive package doesn't actually include ALL food and drinks, however, everything is very well labelled on menus so you know what is included. The staff also always mentioned what was included in the all inclusive. The buffet is completely included, and the other two restaurants that you have to reserve state on their menus what you can order. Reviews said that only pre-mixed cocktails were included, but the list of drinks available was very extensive. I have put a photo of the all inclusive drink list on this review. The staff was super nice, the room was clean and we had booked a double bed, but it was huge, more like the size of a California king. There was entertainment every night and daily activities that were free to participate in. The saunas in the spa are also free to use, but booking a massage is extra. We took a Bolt to and from the airport and it was only 40 euros each way. All the beach chairs on the resort are free to use, but the ones on the beach cost 2 euros for a whole day to book (we didn't feel a need to do this). "

"There's nothing special to do in the mountain area and the morning is pretty cloudy without view, also there's no view from the room. I expected to have better aroma in the room and in the pool and lobby area. The bad was soft and comfortable, the bath kit was nice, and the breakfast was good."
