Absolute disgrace
Not happy at all. Messaged the property about a week before arrival and had no reply. Tried again a couple of days later still nothing, called the contact number to find it had been cut off. By this time i was a little worried so called Hotels.com, i spoke to someone and explained what had happened and was assured everything was ok and we would be greeted at the apartment and let in. We arrived at approximately 7.30 pm in the pouring rain to find no one there and no way of gaining access to the building. We eventually got into the communal area and made our way to the apartment (13) only to be told by a resident of another apartment that someone lived in number 13 and a few people had turned up over the weeks to rent it and that it was a scam property. With nowhere to go i called Hotels.com who offered very littlehelp. I was told i must be in the wrong building, told to go to reception when there was clearly no reception. After approximately half an hour on the phone with a lady of not much use i was told i would be transferred to a relocation team and if the phone cut off i would be called straight back. As luck would have it after 10 minutes on hold the phone went dead and did anyone call back of course not 😡😡😡. We decided it was a waste of time calling back as they didn't seem much use so searched for a property on air b&b. We managed to find a lovely place with a great host so every cloud eh. I will definitely not be booking anything through Hotels.com ever again
