"Shockingly surprised! To be honest we rarely stay in an Econo Lodge, preferring a what we would consider a top tier hotel. My daughter says I’m a hotel diva which I suppose I am. That’s not easy to admit when I’m her father. Yet here we were at an Econo Lodge and what a shock. Our room was modern and the beds were as good as any we’ve ever slept in. The breakfast area was small but kept spotless. Although larger hotels may have more offerings, there was more than enough to choose from for us....
