"The property is in great shape, well maintained, run, the food is excellent (in most cases). Amazingly hard working staff in all areas - restaurants and hospitality. However, there is very little to do outside the property. So if you came to Cabo to relax, have good food (sometimes very good food), unwind with friends and family - that’s perfect."

"Solmar is located on the beach, and each room had a view. The rooms were huge, with an unexpected jacuzzi tub. Luis, the activities director, invited us to stretch on the beach, which we did every morning with him. We also made beautiful string bracelts with him. "I stayed at the Breathless in Cancun in Nov 2024 so based on how that property was set up, I chose them again for my Xmas stay in Cabo. In Cabo the property itself is nice & well-kept 5 stars! "This property was recommended by a good friend and it did not disappoint. Food options were great and the staff/service were professional and friendly. Our only and only frustrating issue was trying to claim a lounge chair only to have our towels tossed because an "elite" member from the sister hotel next door wanted our lounges. Very unfair and discriminatory. We didn't receive a VIP upgrade even though the hotel was not full. We had a wonderful 5 days and we will go back for sure!!"

BEST Experience EVER!

"Best experience I’ve ever had at a resort. The service was impeccable. Whatever you needed. You could text someone and it was there whether it was water or whether it was room service whether it was a reservation whatever it was, they would do for you and the hotel wasn’t very busy. it was amazing and the room was such an amazing room, and they had a fabulous kitchen and a fabulous view and such wonderful restaurants, and that they even came and gave us a massage in the room. The taxis were always ready for us as well. They even have a tram that would drive you around the resort that had Pickleball and it was close to the marina and close to a lot of restaurants and hotels. I am definitely coming back. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not even over selling it. It was so fabulous and the food every night was amazing restaurants from the Hacienda to even their coffee shop was good highly recommend and it’s a great place to go with families or a big group and you can even walk down to the beach and there are multiple pools and there is a fabulous gym and the service is amazing. Everyone is so nice from Jose to Emmanuel to all the valets and all the people that work at the resort! Can’t wait to come back. "
