"Stayed 2 years ago always book more than 1 room. Pool is heated the hot tub isn’t much warmer (a few years back it was warmer) great water pressure in shower, hot water at taps and bottles of water 2 supplied each night. "I am very picky and do lots of planning before choosing. Ritz surpassed our expectations and we will for sure come back. The staff was incredible and our butlers were top notch. The staff was great with my child’s allergies and made us feel very welcome. The gym was also really nice with lots of great machines and free weights. We will return for sure! "

"The newly renovated Tropicana was having a soft opening. Staff was a little green and not all the rooms were open. That said it is still a lovely place and a wonderful location to visit old town San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very anxious to make our stay overnight a wonderful experience and they did! Have stayed at the Tropicana off and on for 30 years!"

"Alex at our check in was excellent went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the hotel and room concept. Tou can’t get a better location for the art walk in Thursday night but it come at a price. The music from the restaurant hotel was so loud until 11. After that ended the music from local bars from the area played until the middle of the night. The air plugs provided were not very useful. The hotel is beautiful but unfortunately we will not stay here again...

"We have stayed at the Property before and, as before, enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and the property is as clean as a large property can be expected. We were very pleased with Giovanny, our guest service contact for the Property. We received a text message from him a few days prior to arrival and asked if there were any special requests, assistance needs, etc... and was very responsive in responding to texts throughout our stay. It was my fiance's Birthday and he made the stay extra special for her.. Thank you to the entire staff and especially Giovanny!! see you again soon. "

"By booking through Expedia, our room was upgraded at arrival. We're not drinkers, though they did put a nice bottle of wine in the room. The food (except for Agave) was fantastic! The nightly entertainment was worth attending. The staff spoke wonderful English. The property was very close to the activities and shopping of Cabo San Lucas. You're a ways from the airport, but the views are well worth the commute!"
