"The place was a little worn, and it seemed like there has not been much improvement recently. However, not an issue given the relative price compared to surrounding hotels. No complaints on that end. Great staff, clean and kept up rooms. There is one major problem we had: only 3 of the 5 elevators were working and one of them had difficulty reading the room keycards. "I had not been to Tropicana in years but good price in Havana Tower & like the Quarter. Room was on a high floor, corner with two views so that was great! Check in confusing - I never received a check in email. Check-out was more confusing - no instructions sent Had to call desk to find out it’s done via TV. For receipt it says call front desk, Front desk says go to where you checked in. Where I checked in was CLOSED & directs us to South Tower. So we are going to lug our bags to another tower...

"I enjoyed my one night stay in room 2321; however, there was an issue. As usual I check for bed bugs and noticed there wasn’t a mattress pad/cover. The only thing over the mattress was a flat sheet. I was appalled there wasn’t a mattress cover to protect from sweat. bodily fluids, and etc. I pulled the other flat sheet from the comforter up and tucked it under the mattress to add another layer between us and the mattress so many other people sleep on.
