"Excellent except our room too hot. Hotel HVAC not room specific. Management aware but unable to correct. At least they comped us breakfast! Hotel very clean. Good exercise room. Breakfast excellent. Hotel away from downtown. Ok for us as we rode metro. Very convenient. But if you want to be near action this is NOT your place. Probably not a good place for average tourist in Shanghai. "This hotel is super duper dated! The bathroom had traces of mould and smells like smoke. Super duper old. The sheets were clean. A cab from there to the city is about 200 which is about $35 usd. The staff very friendly but again couldn’t get past how dirty the hallways were and how dated it is. Breakfast buffet was good."

"Staff was incredibly kind. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Hotel had limited room service (and limited western food options). Room temperature could not get lower than 75F, which was uncomfortably warm. Hotel needs to update some of the decor but overall a good stay. Will likely try another hotel for future trips, hoping for better food and room temperature regulation. "
