This quaint cottage is located in the heart of the historic district on Main Street in Nantucket. Covered with roses and beautiful flowers, it is the perfect getaway! Don't miss this beautifully decorated, 2 bedroom, and one bathroom cottage. The house includes central air conditioning and heat, living room, eat-in kitchen, and washer and dryer on premises. One off street parking spot. Only a five minute walk to all of the shops and restaurants in town & across from the Madaket bike path. The cottage was built in the early 1800's but has been fully gut renovated; custom kitchen which includes Kitchen Aid Professional appliances, farm house sink, white quartz counter tops, custom bathroom, new living room furniture, and a private patio. There is a maximum occupancy of 4 adults, plus one age dependent child.

The cottage was perfect. Had exactly what we needed and all modern amenities. No clutter and even the books were a hit….current reads. Location is .6 mile from town and super easy to bike anywhere on the island. Would definitely stay again.

We just returned from our stay at this beautiful, quaint and historic cottage in Nantucket. We truly enjoyed our stay in the home and it is really just a short walk to the downtown square. Peter was an amazing host and had excellent communication for check-in, house instructions and provided us with so many restaurant recommendations that we really loved! If the property is available, go ahead and reserve it--you will love it!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It had everything we needed and our host Peter communicated well with us. The house was very clean and had plenty room for all four of us. It was a very cold spring weekend and the heat worked very fast and well in all the rooms. We loved cooking and sitting in the sunlight living room. We can't wait to visit this wonderful cottage again!

Having read all the positive reviews, I don't think that there is anything I would be able to add or disagree with. The cottage is in an excellent location close to town, is well appointed, bright and clean. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend. Most importantly is that the host was very accommodating and very easy to reach and communicate with.

What a fabulous and quaint cottage on Nantucket! Beautifully manicured gardens and a lovely view. Cottage was well maintained and very clean. Just a short walk down to the Main Street and wharf. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend this cottage to all of our friends!

The moment I walked in the door I fell in love it’s perfect. It was so cozy very clean and wonderful beds! It’s location is perfect close to everything. The home has everything you need to feel right at home. Peter was very helpful and my only regret is my visit was to short.

Some minor confusion with the check in process and wifi network. Cozy, comfortable cottage which is a 15 minute walk to downtown. All the essentials provided and a bike trail to Madaket beach right across the street.

One Madaket is a wonderful place to stay. The owner maintained the historical character of the house while adding modern conveniences throughout the home. Each room has been redone with thoughtful additions. The whole place is spotless clean and very comfortable. Our family enjoyed the time here!

My husband and I came here after our wedding for a mini moon! It was in great location to downtown about a 15 min walk and it was also in great location to the bike paths. Peter was prompt on answering our questions and needs at any time of the day! We will definitely stay here again when returning to Nantucket!

I took my mom to Nantucket for her birthday in October and the place was amazing! The pictures online didn’t do it justice. We had all the things we could possibly need in the cottage and loved all the cute details within the place. It’s also walking distance from town which was perfect. The host, Peter, was also very accommodating and great with communication throughout the whole booking process experience. Highly recommend and if we ever come back to the island I’d book here again in a heartbeat!

This cottage is the best!!! So well-decorated, clean and cozy but more space than we anticipated. Sunlight fills the rooms in the morning and creates a bright space. And the location is fantastic. Skip the hassle of parking in the busy downtown. A short walk down historic Main Street puts you right in the heart of all the shops and restaurants. This cottage is quintessential Nantucket charm. Book it!!! Just not when we want to book again!!

This was our 2nd year staying in the Cottage. Amazing stay again! It has everything you need for your trip and is super comfortable. The location cannot be beat. We love being able to walk to town and are 5 minutes from the north side beaches and 8-12 minutes from the south side beaches. Also very close to the Stop & Shop grocery store. Close enough to walk into town for dinner or morning coffee, and also has everything you need to have your meals at home (grill, patio table, great kitchen). We're coming back to stay at the Main house later this summer and looking forward to seeing Peter's other property. Communication & check in was a breeze. Highly recommend booking the Cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay at One Madaket. The little beach cottage is well appointed and perfect for a tiny family. Our communication from our host was satisfactory, and the location of the cottage is convenient to all parts of the island. The updates and decor are beautiful and comfortable. And the little patio in the back was private enough to enjoy daily. Nothing compares to waking up a Nantucket and Brewing and enjoying your 1st cup of coffee of the day. The property was well-maintained. We were able to get to all of our favorite parts of the island repeatedly throughout our stay. We will be coming back soon! Peter is the best!

We spent about a month in this absolutely wonderful home on Nantucket. When we arrived, it was clear the house has been professionally cleaned and was spotless. The kitchen is great for cooking for meals in. The tv room has a ton of natural light & was a great place to hang out as a family. There are 2 bedrooms, one on main floor which is easily accessible and 1 in the loft which is a steep staircase (fine for us as we have no mobility issues but bear this in mind). The little patio on the side of the house gets a lot of sun & was great, we used it a lot. I really appreciated all the little details like matching, high quality linens & towels. Location was totally ideal, a quick 10-15 minute walk down Main Street to get into town. We've stayed on Nantucket a number of times and by far we found this location the most ideal, as it's close to everything, very walkable, and has access to a bike path out front. Peter the host was absolutely phenomenal, going above & beyond to make our stay so so enjoyable - fast response, fast resolution, and exemplary customer service on anything we needed. We had an amazing time & look forward to staying here again sometime soon! Thank you so much!
