"The hotel is in a central French Quarter location and rooms are quiet even though the hotel is on Bourbon St. Nice lobby and nice, clean rooms. The shower didn't have hot water. After a while it got quite warm but never hot. There was no housekeeping. And when my 90-year-old mother needed an extra hour to check out, they charged her $70. There is also a $20/night resort fee that is taken at the hotel and not disclosed in the pricing."

"This hotel has a lot of charm. It’s walking distance to the French Quarter. The room has a homey brick walled table and fireplace area before entering the bedroom The bedroom is a bit cramped, and not much sink room in the bathroom. The rooms surround a really nice courtyard and pool so the N Rampart street noise was blocked. My only complaint - the front desk guy always made it clear in a nonverbal manner he has better things to do than take care of your needs or questions. At one point he...
