Everyone we talked to was fantastic, helpful, pleasant and competent even when it was very busy. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Also, while it isn't necessarily in a walkable area, it is on the OTHER side of Lake Placid, closer to the ski jump, which makes it that much easier to hit the loj or head toward keene for hiking without having to battle the town...
