"The hotel is in a great location close to Te Papa, the waterfront, supermarket and restaurants. The rooms was spacious and clean with good amenities provided (the bath was massive!) I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get bathrobes or shower caps, simple things like this really elevate a stay. Also it was very noisy at night with loud cars and people outside (it was a Saturday), so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs! "My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. The lodge is in a beautiful quiet area of Waiheke and convenient to beaches, restaurants and wineries. We couldn’t get over how serene the area is. Perfect...
