"An outstanding hotel in a great location. Our suite was large and comfortable with a great bathroom and a separate guest bathroom. Furnishings were carefully chosen and are excellent. The restaurant serves a full breakfast. One complaint: WiFi was not reliable and was unavailable for more than 18 hours. "

"Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is in getting some upgrades at the moment. Rooms are clean and quiet. The pool and deck area looks very inviting but we didn't have time to try it out. Very close to bus routes to go to Takapuna beach. "

"It was in the back of beyond however there was no shielding the neighbouring property which resembled a rubbish tip. When you went in and out of your room every-time it was an eye sore. The rooms were spacious however the bedding was dirty and stained. The continental breakfast supplied in the room was generous and good. "Amazing location, loungers on the beach, fabulous beach front alfresco dining, on site restaurant served great food with a homely touch. Service was impeccable yet casual and friendly. Large rooms, nice bathrooms. The fit out of the room is nice but fairly basic if comparing to a 4-5 star hotel"
