The location was perfect. Just a short walk from town. The front patio overlooking the water was wonderful. All the staff was very attentive.
The big bonus for this hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and helpful, plus the room we had was quiet, had a great shower and all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. It has lovely views from its terrace and we had drinks on it watching the sunset. We also enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at it as well.
This is a wonderful hotel! Extremely friendly staff. Very nice breakfast, which is included in the price of your stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated and is very cozy. The beds were comfortable. Great shower with excellent water pressure. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The hotel is along the waterfront and is a short walk away from shops and restaurants. The town of Oban is lovely! Overall, I highly recommend!
This is a gorgeous property. Fun interior design and great restaurant. The service the first night was unpleasant and slightly unfriendly with no help for baggage and no lift. The next mornings service was amazing with a great lady working breakfast.
Absolutely fantastic! We stayed here for 4 nights and every morning they serve you an amazing breakfast. Aysha, who I believe was the managers name, was spectacular and by far the best experience we have had traveling!
Hotel was beautifully decorated, staff were very friendly & professional. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here for a romantic getaway.
Let me share an example how well the staff is trained.
I start work earlier when travelling for pleasure. I was up and very quietly working in the lounge to avoid bothering my spouse’s sleep.
Within minutes the overnight manager found me and I had an Americano within seconds.

It is an older hotel with a decor upgrade. If you have rooms above you, you will be able to hear everything including them walking around in their room. Do not recommend for light sleepers. Room and bathroom are more on the compact side. Wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay as there isn’t really room for suitcases.
Absolutely stunning place. Wonderfully warm welcome. Excellent on site Italian restaurant. Very funky interior decor in beautiful Victorian house right on the sea front of Oban.
Fantastic weekend! Beautiful hotel with lovely attentive staff. We were thoroughly looked after all weekend. The communal rooms are so cosy and the sea view from the lounge and restaurant were stunning. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious and the drinks menu was wonderful. Loved the scottish gin menu. Would definitely come back.
View is beautiful as hotel is on the water. Breakfast is interesting in that you order the night before, but it works well and is excellent. Staff was extremely friendly. Parking is available but limited, so if the hotel is full you will pay for parking unless you arrive between 6pm and 9pm.
Wonderful boutique hotel with friendly staff and fabulous breakfast options - also great breakfast playlist and fast service if you’re on route to the ferry- we’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re ok with walking a bit further to the downtown area in exchange for a wonderful hotel with great service.
Very nice hotel, we stayed 3 nights. The room was spacious, good bathroom, very good restaurant and breakfast. Easy walk downtown. Staff very friendly and the lady who was in charge is like a super woman she was on topof everything
