We were coming down south for car show in Alton but we were looking for a unique place to stay close by and Green Tree exceeded our expectations. The owners are a delight. I can’t brag enough about the fantastic host, who kept us informed of events happening in town during our stay, checking in to make sure our expectations and needs were met. This home is just off the main route, on a quiet, less travel street, with a lovely view of the river from the front porch. We will definitely keep this on our list to revisit. "
