The spa was lovely, though a bit small, so it can get busy quickly. We visited early in the mornings and late at night when it was quieter. I’ll definitely recommend it and hope to return in the future!"

"The staff were lovely and helpful and it was a great location in the centre of Edinburgh. There was some work being done on the building (outside the establishment's control) but it couldn't be heard from our room. Would recommend and happily stay here again!"

"THE best location possible. Steps to the castle and everything you want. Hotel is super clean. You’re directly across from St Giles church and not many cars up here at hotel because street is made for walking around. Great beds and quality soap in showers. Bedding is great, blankets great and mattresses were the best we’ve had on our 3 country trip. Staff walked us to our rooms and carried our luggage. Lots of steps in Edinburgh- but if you stay on the street it’s easier with luggage. 5 minute walk to Waverly station so you can do a day trip to St Andrews. Room was stocked with tea and snacks and that was a wonderful touch. "

"The perfect location between Old Town and New Town. It was a quant hotel with easy access to transportation - the bus from the airport dropped us off just on the bridge across from the hotel. It's a bit of an odd layout and it was a bit of a maze to find the room. But it was comfortable and we'd stay there again!"

"Loved staying at Apex City hotel. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. Room was good. Not fancy, but very clean and good. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is very clean and nice. It was more elegant than the room itself. Area is great. I liked being in grassmarket street and in the old town part. Many restaurants and cafes are close to the hotel for good breakfast or dinner in the evening. Overall, the hotel is very good and I would definitely come back in the future and stay in the hotel."
