"Overall the hotel was good. I was a bit dismayed that we werent told before booking or even up to day of arrival, of the pool being closed for maintenance. There were a couple of lights (standard and table) not working but that wasnt a big issue. Also the bathroom doorstop was missing but there part of the fixing still left in the floor. "Great location. Bang in the middle of town, on the royal mile. 5 min walk to tbe castle. Less than 7 min walk to princes street and 10 min st james quarter mall. Spacious, clean appartment with l'occitane products. Had a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher and microwave. Kettle and nespresso machine too. Huge bathroom and shower. Great views from the 7th floor overlooking all of Princes st and the monument. Waverly train station is a few minutes walk, was a bit noisy but didnt notice it...
