The spa was lovely, though a bit small, so it can get busy quickly. We visited early in the mornings and late at night when it was quieter. "It was a great stay, Holiday Inn location was very centrally located, easy access to public transport/ to city Centre/ Usher hall / airport. The breakfast buffet was a nice spread, for children there was pancake machine available. The bar too is reasonably priced. Had booked for 2 nights stay extended it by another day. Edinburgh Zoo is next door Taxi / Uber / Bolt easy access."

"Loved staying at Apex City hotel. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. Room was good. Not fancy, but very clean and good. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is very clean and nice. It was more elegant than the room itself. Area is great. I liked being in grassmarket street and in the old town part. Many restaurants and cafes are close to the hotel for good breakfast or dinner in the evening. Overall, the hotel is very good and I would definitely come back in the future and stay in the hotel."
