"The kyle hotel is much bigger than I expected. The exterior photos do not do it justice at all. The interior is much nicer although it is in need of investment and updating, such as double glazed windows and modern internal doors. The ensuite bathroom do appear to have been recently refitted.I found this to be a very good base close to the Skye Bridge with a choice of exploring the island of sky or the surrounding mainland areas. "

I found a the stalk from a buch of grapes by the side of the bed which i was surprised was missed if the floors had supposedly been hoovered!? The ajoining restaurant/pub was good. "This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed...

"A lovely, clean and modern yet traditional hotel. Customer service is excellent, had two small queries once we arrived however these were fixed immediately. Beds were super comfy, plenty of space in the rooms and we were able to request a twin instead of a double. All but a few hairs the room matched the rest of the hotel in its cleanliness. breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. location wise it was great, there was a car park although seemed very limited spaces even for winter....
