"Affordable and comfortable hotel next to Hommachi train station, but couldn’t hear the trains. 20-25 min walk to Dotonbori Bridge area which is a must to see, especially at night. Good local restaurants at good prices. Hotel rooms are small, but that is common in Japan. Only downside to the rooms were the lack of top sheets and uncomfortable pillows. Definitely recommend APA, for the price. Safe area for female solo travellers. "

" Very near many shopping, sightseeing, nightlife, combini (7 eleven), transit, and more. Hotel room is good and staff is helpful. Breakfast is fine but wasn’t my favorite for 1400 yen. It can be very noisy in the halls and outside because it’s next to Dotonbori and tourists are everywhere. The laundry service is very limited. There’s 3 wash/dry combo machines on the second floor but everyone seems to use it so patience is required. "
