"Azul Nomeolvides is a small place, only six rooms, quite removed from the world. The rooms are spacious and done rather nicely, if a bit sparse. They're quite open to the world, especially the bathrooms, which are done wonderfully in different stone patterns and feature rainforest-like showers and a wonderful array of lotions such as sunscreen and aloe that you should absolutely try. "This hotel has been built with great care & attention. The cabin structures are solid, beautifully enclosed and finished and still somehow they fit in with the environment. The staff were excellent and wow, the chef's vegan meals were superb. The location is quite deep off the main highway which is definitely a positive, as the location is silent apart from the sounds of nature and soft music in the dining area."

"Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away. Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase. The person that let is us in did not explain the access to the beach facilities. Nor did she offer contact info...

"The property is exactly like the pictures beautiful we enjoyed our stay at the house so much that we spent very little time at the lagoon, it is a quick walk to where you pay a few pesos to get in use their facilities to access the lagoon right in Beunevista sorry can not comment on that as we went to Bacalar."

"We never got a true confirmation or check in information for this property. When we called VRBO (very difficult from abroad) they said this was a false listing (my daughter had to do this in the states as it was too difficult form afar). We eventually was reimbursed but we had to scramble to find a new place late a night on our own."
