"Firstly this is a budget hotel, so very limited choice of cold buffet breakfast and pizza/panini 24 hour availablity for a hot snack and a limited bar for a beer or two, BUT with that said, Hotel Ibis Budget is a perfect place to stay for events in Edinburgh, with a tram stop just a 4 minute walk!!! The hotel is warm, welcoming, exceptionally clean and the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really comfy bed, excellent shower and a TV, spot on. There's free tea and coffee in the lounge/foyer area and a lift to all floors. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and housekeeping is very good. There's a large Morrisons and shopping centre next to the tram stop. The location is superb, very quiet and very safe. We are definitely going to stay here again next time we visit Edinburgh."
