"Recently updated, this (now) Grand Hyatt was terrific. Even at full capacity it never felt crazy busy - lots of room at the pools. They were on tail end of a long reno so some food outlets not open. Rooms were big, clean and sunny. Nice Balmain products for those into amenities. Pools are great and kids will love the water slide. Food is good (menus are slightly limited vs something like JW or Fairmont). Service is AMAZING. From the poolside staff to front desk to valet, every single person...

"We had a mess up with check in that was solved promptly and professionally by the staff. The previous users of the room we were in never checked out. This was brought to the attention of the staff and within minutes a suitable alternative was found. Professional and prompt service. The room itself was good. The AC turning itself off when nobody was there was annoying as we would come back from a hot day to a hot room but it was powerful and would set the room back to a reasonable temperature...
