The staff was very kind and helpful. The hot water situation could be better. I had a six day stay: two days the water was cold, two days it was luke warm, and the last two days it was much better, but not hot. The lights were off in the first floor hallway. Even though I reported it on the first night, they were never fixed. I also asked and was granted a room change due to a mold smell in my room.

I was very disapointed. I checked in, looked at the poor condition of the property and the dirty room , including the beds and knew I couldn't stay there. I most certainly couldn't have my girlfriend there. So I just took a shower - ha, no towels , and left and found another hotel. And, thet charged me an extra @ 35 dollars for absolutely nothing since I didn't even stay.

The only problem at the hotel was that even though I paid extra for an upgraded room with a jacuzzi, I couldn't use it because there was no hot water. Otherwise, I was satisfied, and the Be Playa hotel has been close to my heart for many years.

We booked this hotel for the jacuzzi tub and location. Location is ideal however we were there for 4 nights and had no hot water. Our room was nice and clean but the rooftop area around the pool was dirty and rundown. Absolutely a joke that this is advertised as a 4 star property.

AC was broken. Tub was broken. Very very noisy well into the night. Couldn't open patio door because if noise which made the broken AC even worse. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Otherwise wouldn't return.

I am even surprised that Expedia keeps this hotel on its list, let alone advertising this hotel as a four-star hotel. This is completely false advertising. The hotel is terrible in both cleanliness and condition. It is dirty, with cobwebs (that were not new) and cockroaches. I booked it in a rush, trusting that it was a four star hotel. If there was any rating less than edible, I would have chosen it. I called Expedia immediately after one night, and they reimbursed me for all expenses once I showed them pictures of

Was a decent hotel with some issues. We checked in on a Saturday, third floor room and the elevator was out of service. Was told it was fixed only for us to then get stuck in the elevator. We checked out Monday and the elevator was still out of order. Not fun lugging your luggage up and down 3 floors. The rooftop pool looked like it had not been cleaned recently. Oily haze and hair floating around made it unappealing. Went only once as it was not great.
