"Overall good 👍 excellent nights sleep. Not enamoured with the phone system we had difficulty contacting the hotel, too many hoops to jump through. Bathroom although looks good had a few issues eg, toilet flush coming off the wall and towel holder also loose, however the shower was great but not easy to adjust."

"I love staying here. The view from the lodge is great and staff are wonderful. My only issue this visit was the lack of light in the car park. We arrived in the dark and couldn’t really see to get luggage out of the car and needed to use a torch to get to our room, which was in an lodge (by choice) and not part of the main building. Other than that it was great!"

"Quite a nice quiet place but not worth anything like what they charge. There were stains on the bed covers which they came and changed straight away. "A little night away with my partner , lovely hotel and grounds , we stayed in the blue room which they call the stables it’s separate from the main hotel . Lovely room all that you need is provided in the room . They don’t provide dinner but on their website you can find restaurants that are close by to book also breakfast is not included in with the room however you can purchase breakfast if you wish too . Overall a lovely little hotel with very friendly staff that make you feel very welcome.....

"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...
