"Nice to be RIGHT on the water/beach. No hotel seating, typical for beach services to provide umbrellas and chairs for rent. Great food available on the property, with hundreds of other options very near. Our favorite thing was the ABCstore right on the premises. So much variety from salads to sweatshirts and sunscreen. Rooms nothing special but nice enough. We had to pay for room upgrade to get partial ocean view and would recommend it. We did ask if the fee could be waived r/t our gold One...

"Hotel is in a central location, close to everything which was great given we were first timers. We had a partial ocean view room, the view was fabulous. Room was clean and perfect for 2 people. Beds were comfortable. Only drawback would be the resort fee at $40USD is excessive given there are not a lot of ammenities at the hotel compared to others. Would consider staying here again given its location. "

"Overall the property was good. The in house restaurant for breakfast was terrible $38 USD for a basic bland buffet. Once I saw it I knew I didn’t want to eat there and especially for that price. We stayed here 2 other times and the restaurant was under different management and you could also order À la cart. Our air conditioner was acting up the entire time also but we had 2 rooms and the other one was perfect. Overall we would stay again. "

"Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately there was constant construction during our stay. We moved rooms only to be placed next to very loud turbines running 24/7. This rendered our ocean view balcony unusable. We paid a premium price for a room we were unable to appreciate. If you have read this far, please do not book any odd numbered room. The even numbers will be much quieter, as long as the construction on the Surfrider side is complete. Hotel is definitely showing its age,...

"I like the location, great ocean view room. Good breakfast choice, Hawaii coffee, and very nice staff. Nothing really I don’t like, if anything I would say a little noise sometimes and hearing loud talks from adjacent room. "

"Room was clean. We appreciated how quiet and private our room was. All staff were very friendly and always greeted us whenever we came in and out. A great stay for the value. Some downsides: no microwave even when we asked to use one. The bed was too soft and I got a sore back. The room was really dark and it was hard to get enough lighting in the room just to see our belongings at night. "
