"Andrew at concierge was great. So many good food options nearby. Make sure to get cheaper parking at the fish pier lot across the street. The complimentary Nespresso machine tastes pretty good, view wasn't great facing the parking lot but the amenities and closeness to everything really makes up for it, only 10 minutes away from most things in the old port. There was almost always something going on in the cafe or Luna. "

"Had a very pleasant stay recently at the Portland Harbor Hotel. The rooms are spacious with a great view of downtown Portland. The front desk service was good and the room rate was reasonable. When I checked in I would have appreciated being told that I needed to use my room key to make the elevator work, but that was a minor issue. "Stayed one night. Location convenient, can walk to downtown shopping and events. Area is safe and quiet. Valet parking on site available. Hotel restaurant closes on the early side (9:30pm) so did not make it there in time. Staff friendly and helpful. One room down the hall had brought their dog, which they left unattended for at least an hour during the day - the dog kept barking nonstop; I called the front desk and the staff worked on locating the dog owner. Thankfully no dog barking occurred...
