Overall, it is a very quiet, clean complex. My family and I didn't love Seven Seas beach which was the main reason we chose this location. You have to cross some large, sharp, rocky areas to enter the ocean and the water was very cloudy while we were there. No ability to snorkel at all even though some sites say this beach...

"A nice condo with a balcony and an outstanding view of the beach and surf, which are practically right below. The unit was clean and well appointed with a kitchen. There is artwork at places throughout, mostly with a marine animal theme. Typical of beach accommodations there was no carpeting; tile and laminate flooring are easier to keep clean. The water pressure was much less than we are accustomed to, but we understand that may be a result of insufficient infrastructure or other reasons and...

"Maria and Ramon are the number one host ever!! I went to their villa with my family, and we had the best family time ever. The view is incredible the villa is very comfy we had everything we need games, towels, the pools are near, there is a golf cart that can pick you up and take you to the hotel. Definitely I will stay in their villa again!! "

Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. "A little disappointed there was no balcony. We knew this : however, there were large windows that faced the ocean and opened letting in a nice breeze. We were there for 10 days and one of the elevators was broken the entire time. Easy access to the beach but no chairs provided and 2 chairs and 1 umbrella was $25 a day! You will have to buy ice. Would I stay there again? Yes fabulous location."
