"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "Well positioned property, by the side of the airport, with a free shuttle. Rooms are spacious and clean with a good pool. All members of staff were courteous and attentive.
Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of local food and exceptional service. Special mention must be made of Raul who was jovial as well as efficient and made us feel as if we were long-lost friends.
When I contacted reception to find a place to glue back the sole of one of my shoes which had come off, she rang maintenance and the gentleman who responded offered to do it for me, which he did in a couple of hours. This is what I call exceptional service!
Having an Alsama Tours desk was a bonus, the ever efficient Jolene arranging a number of excellent tours for us."
"Perfect for a late arrival into San Jose before heading out for the week. Our flight arrived 11:30pm and the shuttle picked us up within 5 minutes, another 5 minute drive and check I. Was quick and easy being in bed by 12am. Most of the car rental agencies are in the same parking lot and after a decent breakfast I picked up the car and on the road by 9:15 am. "
