"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. "This property is about a 25 min (fast paced) walk to the tourist areas. It feels safe, quite, more authentic, and has a beautifully run doggy daycare right next door. The staff are what made my stay here exceptional. They will go out of their way to help you, direct, and inform you, in English. It has many local tourists, rather than from other countries. The buffet breakfast is sublime and highly recommended. The bedrooms are ample. Thank-you for making my time in Oaxaca fell amazing."

"A cute modern hotel with a modern design. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Beautiful terrace restaurant.The location away from downtown is a plus. I would give it five stars except for the dogs barking around the hotel day and night and the roosters next door that begin crowing around 4:30 am. "
