Hotel Whitcomb
2.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (1002)
"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. The room I stayed in was okay. The bathroom was small and the furniture was peeling. How you watch TV in the room was a little new which was appealing. You use a Chromecast and then just link your...

Beacon Grand, A Union Square Hotel
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1004)
"Love the convenience of the hotel and it’s classic look specially having a Starbucks next-door the restaurant was good too. The piano entertainment was great. The bartender was great the only thing I like about this hotel was the very small room for the toilet. I’m a medium size man and it was difficult for me. I can imagine someone bigger understandable that there’s not much space and it’s the older building may be worth check it out, not sure if all the rooms are the same "

InterContinental Mark Hopkins, an IHG Hotel
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1006)
"Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed by the friendly housekeeping staff. Noticing the absence of a front desk attendant, she made the decision to call for assistance with our check-in. The receptionist took a while to appear and when he finally did, he seemed unenthusiastic about helping. He handed us our room key and directed us without discussing breakfast or their hours of operation. He didn't mention parking. But fortunately, we found the elevators conveniently located behind the...

The best part of our stay was the bed it was very soft and relaxing that I already slept at 7PM. Best sleep of my life! Exceptional customer service and will definitely come back again. "

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square
Queen Anne Hotel
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1004)
"Great location. The $30 parking voucher is good for just one overnight. But you might be able to find parking on the street. Rug in room showed wear, bathroom floor was slanted and shower head was at neck level and outlets were in unusually high places in the bathroom. These oddities are part on staying in an old refinished Victorian home. The breakfast was typical of a stay at a motel chain. The location is excellent and bed was comfortable. "
