"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. "We loved our stay, it is in a great location, so if you're doing a spot of shopping and need to pop back for the toilet, wi-fi or to recharge your feet it is very convenient. Staff were friendly, we had a balcony, room was cleaned daily and breakfast was great too."
