"Very close to the side lift which made it very convenient. Still close enough to the main lift for purchasing ski passes and where the rentals are. Facilities are old but not bad. Onsen was clean but the outdoor area is a bit small (if there are more than 3 people). Parking is tight but available if you can get your car up the small hill and the counter can help you reserve a taxi which is super helpful. The receptionists all had good English too. "

"HA-MON was excellent, fantastic friendly staff and owner. Only minor issue we had was that we did not realise we had booked a room without a private bathroom. Most rooms do not have private bathrooms, however, this was our fault for not reviewing the room details properly before booking. Other than that we were very happy with our stay. Thank you! ☺️"

"We recommend dealing with the property directly rather than through Expedia, as communication was excellent once we did so. The team was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The heating system and TV were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Happo One Gondola Adam—and very peaceful."

"I was here for an 8-day ski trip, 6 nights in a Western-style room, and 1 night in a Japanese-style room. The hotel is very spacious and I really like the rustic/quaint atmosphere. I really liked that the western room had a couch. Made full use of the onsen and ski locker room in the basement. Free Kaiseki Breakfast was very convenient. "This is a very basic hotel, catering mostly to young Australian tourists. It is extremely conveniently located next to the Happo One gondola and several popular bars / restaurants. The rooms are clean and generally the staff were very helpful, but the physical state of the building and the smell of diesel fuel is a little off putting. The breakfast is very basic but in the hotel’s defence, everything was pretty much exactly as described and the price reflects the value you get here. "

"We loved our stay at the Hakuba Marriott! It had a great gym, the in room onsen was perfect after a day on the slopes and the staff were so friendly. It was walkable to the main drag and provides a shuttle to the ski resorts right out front. It was nice to come back and enjoy a drink at the bar after dinner. We cannot wait to stay here again!"
