"The property was lovely, a little dated, the staff were lovely,beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, evening meal first night was really nice, the 2nd night wasn't as good, was told it was a different chef Sunday. The spa was very nice, used the sauna and steam room, the Jacuzzi and the pool. In fact the spa was really Christmasy but the hotel was rather poor with the Christmas decorations, overall I would definitely stay again."

"This is the 3 rd time we have stayed at the Wild Boar and we decided to Upgrade our room this time . Unfortunately the shower had not be cleaned and had cobwebs hanging from It clearly Indicating it had not been cleaned throughly for some time . All staff were friendly and the meals are fantastic unfortunately the standard of cleanliness of the shower somewhat tarnished the stay as the room upgrade was significantly more expensive than the standard rooms. "

"Two nights were booked here for two colleagues who were working in the area. They specifically requested that I leave a glowing review as they found the accommodation to be excellent and were keen to pass on their thanks to the helpful staff with particular mention to Olivia who I was asked to say is better than she thinks she is! I'm not usually asked to complete reviews for the many bookings I make behalf of my colleagues so I can only conclude that this stay was exceptionally good."

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff were excellent, they couldn't do enough for you. We booked a superior twin room through Expedia but they booked a superior double room, the staff went out of their way to change to a twin room. The room was clean but looked like a DIY job and didn't have a nice view but as Expedia had messed up and booked a double room we put up with it, there was no hot water in the shower but they did offer us a key for another room to shower the next morning"

"You definitely get what you pay for. Fabulous customer service before our stay and the Receptionists were all extremely helpful and welcoming during our stay.
