"A really pleasant hotel close to lake Toya. The traditional Japanese room was excellent to experience and the onsen with its both indoor and outdoor baths were phenomenal. There were other amenities such as free bike rentals to take advantage of. "Loved our stay at Spa Shiosai. We only stayed 1 night but I would definilty stay again in the future. We were snowboarding at Rusutsu and it was an easy drive. "It was a traditional Japanese room where you sleep on a futon on a tatami floor. The room was beautiful with a nice sitting balcony room that overlooked the side of the mountain. The only problem was the smell of the dust that gathered on or inside the tatami. We don't know whether this is normal and we just aren't used to sleeping in a tatami room."
