"We booked to stay for the weekend in December for our anniversary and when we arrived after a two and half hour drive we found the hotel closed apparently for a refit. The hotel have not replied to my email and the phone number is not in use. We had to walk around at 7pm in the wind and rain looking for alternative accommodation which cost a further £100. Hotels.com still have not refunded my money"

"Good for a quick stay. Family room was nice with separate rooms. No elevator however so Be prepared to lug your luggage up a few flight of stairs!"
