"We booked to stay for the weekend in December for our anniversary and when we arrived after a two and half hour drive we found the hotel closed apparently for a refit. The hotel have not replied to my email and the phone number is not in use. We had to walk around at 7pm in the wind and rain looking for alternative accommodation which cost a further £100. Hotels.com still have not refunded my money"

"Comfortable rooms - if you go in Winter turn your heating down rather than off, it suddenly gets very cold Rooms are dated but cleaned well The service in the restaurant is good and the portion sizes are very generous "
