"We had the absolute best time at Overo!!! From the moment we arrived and how we were greeted with glasses of papaya juice to the amazing breakfast and dinner menus!! The villa was such a relaxing experience ! Love the kitchen and the welcome treats they surprised us with. I would highly recommend this hotel. We were only there 2 nights but felt like it was a much needed getaway. The personnel were super friendly and helpful. We honestly felt like we were taken care of the entire stay. I would recommend eating at the restaurant - the food was amazing - make sure to order dessert too. Our girls loved it and honestly we would go back in a heartbeat. "

"This beautiful property is off the beaten path. We loved the park-like grounds and the friendly family who welcomed us. Carolina and he sweet daughter showed us the ropes and connected us with a wonderful taxi driver to take us to Brazil. There is a nice playscape for younger kids. "

"This was a phenomenal stay for us! The staff here (Natalia, Carlos, Diego especially) are truly outstanding. The wait staff were also just wonderful. We splurged and got a room with a view of the falls and it was definitely worth it. But a jungle view would also be ok because so many of the common areas have a stunning view. The food is really good. Definitely pricey but very good! We splurged on a meal at their Mercado restaurant. We did the offer of what we call a prix fixe menu and while it was good, it was way too much food. We didn’t try the wines but it looked like they had an amazing selection. We saw monkeys and toucans and other birds on property! We were able to get late check out at 2 pm (and could have extended further if we were willing to pay $36/hour). Also, they offered that we could shower at the spa if we needed to and one of us did, which was great. Taking the Iguazu Jungle trip was also so convenient as it starts and ends right near the hotel. We walked both the Inferior and Superior Circuits - both of which are easily accessible from the hotel. We did not have time for the train but that is also very convenient from the hotel. This place is a 10/10 hands down. If you are able to spend the extra money to stay here, you will definitely be wowed!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The resort is just up the hill from downtown, about a 10/15 minute walk to most places. So it was a little quieter than some of the other hotels downtown. When we arrived, we received a delicious cocktail. The staff was friendly, and they gave us advice about restaurants in the area. Along with how to best get to the park by the front desk. We ate breakfast every morning at the buffet and enjoyed the food before we set out for the day. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and thought it was one of the best restaurants in town. I would recommend making a reservations. They are still building parts of the resort. So there is some construction going on, but they didn't seem to start too early. We would potentially stay here again if we came back to town. "
