"My wife and I go to Southend often and found the Hamiltons Boutique Hotel which we haven't stayed in before. We had a message in the morning to confirm what time we'll be arriving which I thought was a nice touch. We had a lovely welcome and being out of season, we was given the Hamilton Suite with a sea view. The whole hotel was lovely and clean and bright with lots of light. The next morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast each. 100% will be out "go to" hotel when we go to Southend now. Great...

"hotel located nicely for centre of town and pier, although multi story carpark opposite has very low height restriction meaning I had to park a short walk away in a dodgy feeling carpark "

"Really appreciated how quiet it was at night, and the room was warm, cosy and very clean. Check in was friendly/efficient and due to leaving early the next morning I was able to get some breakfast to take away, which was nice. Would certainly stay again if I return to the area in future."
