"Our family had a fabulous kick off to the Christmas holiday during our thanksgiving stay in this home. It’s about a half a mile to downtown and an easy walk. The house has a huge backyard and was nicely decorated and very clean. Southport has a breathtaking charm to it that warms your heart. It was a perfect holiday. charm"

"Convenient downtown Southport location. Plenty of pros to this as-described property and the only con is the no dedicated parking which was expected but even that wasn't too much of an issue. Also access information is provided via a 3rd party rather than the vrbo app. Property was clean, quiet and safe. Patio view of downtown was a treat. Within walking distance of so many restaurants. Just be sure to bring your own pool towels!"

"Maxwell was a welcoming and communicative host. The house was very spacious and clean, with amenities as described (beach gear, linens, towels, etc.) The property’s location allowed us to visit various local beaches, downtown Southport, Wilmington, and a few very nice mountain biking trails. Great stay, wish we had more time! "

"The location was great, but the house itself needs some attention. The pictures were a little deceiving in that the only pictures of the stairs was the 1st flight and that was taken at an angle. The second set of steps were very narrow and straight up to the master bedroom where the balcony was off limits due to repairs. The master bathtub had not been cleaned before we got there.i would say that this is not a house to rent if you are an older person due to the stairs and the risk of them being...
