"Advantages; ample parking. Good value. Short walk to the Quays where the new/modern restaurants are. One mile to the cathedral. There are nearby supermarkets. Downsides: thin walls: you hear your neighbors. The bed is a cheap, noisy metal thing. The common area/kitchen is subject to the behaviors of your neighbors. During my stay, they proved themselves to be total slobs."

"The Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years but the Coombe House is #1. "We stayed three nights for a family wedding locally. The house was spacious downstairs which was a plus due to the weather as it was very stormy and cloudy and foggy! The house had everything we needed lovely terraces which we would have loved to use if only the rain had stopped! The bedrooms needed a mirror in each room to help the female guests in their getting ready. But overall a lovely house! "
