Absolutely safe, great entertainment, good food, cleanliness everywhere was outstanding, and the service from the bell boys to the buffet and restaurant staff was remarkable. The kiddie water parks were amazing & love Akumal's beach , its like a pool! We can't wait to go back! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Barcelo Maya Colonial. Great family vacation! Our 4 and 6 year old kids had a blast at the water parks, pools, and ocean! Highly recommend for a family vacation, food was great, the shows were very entertaining, and the Colonial is centrally located to access all the hotels and attractions. We hope to plan another trip there in the future!"
