The Metrocentre is nearby (a disappointment) and the Rowers has funky old fashioned ship-related decor with wooden panels and antiquated-style bathroom furnishings. The only drawback are the doors to each room which need to be pulled hard to close."

The room was a bit tired looking and SO hot, the options are having the heater on or off, theres no thermostat to adjust the room temperature. The bed was a double which was rather cosy! Probably my fault for not checking that on booking. Breakfast is included, it was ok. The hash browns were a bit soggy & the bacon was underwhelming. Staff at breakfast seemed more intent on loudly discussing their lives in the kitchen...
