"The staff are a credit to the hotel, it was reading previous reviews about them which was the deciding factor for us in staying at this hotel, i can honestly say everybody was lovely. beds were nicely comfortable. Breakfast had plently of choices. Trams outside the front door. We would happily stay here again when we visit in the summer."

"When we arrived we were given a terrible room wardrobe broken chair broken not a nice room ,complained and was moved to a better room , couldn’t use shower as not disabled friendly no rails to hold on to .but was a better room, staff were lovely very helpful and friendly were really good with the dog , would stay there again but would ask for proper disabled friendly room"

"Most staff were friendly although the receptionist on shift Sat morning found it hard to speak in a friendly manner. She made it hard for the guests who were asking questions. We were sitting in reception for an hour waiting for the room as it was really busy in the bar due to the match so watched a few guests asking for advice etc - I thought she was very lucky that most of the guests didn’t react to her tone etc. "

"Our stay was very enjoyable and situated in a great place to see the Christmas illuminations. All staff were really friendly and polite and everything was very well organised. The food and dining area was perfect and the entertainment in the evenings was fantastic. Very convenient parking. Overall fantastic stay but if I had to find one very small and petty negative it would be the bathroom needed a blind , however 10 out of 10 and we will be returning. "

"The hotel is due to undergo a refurbishment. We had a family room 3 single beds. 1 double bed. The beds. were so comfy. Slept really well. the quilt covers. Pillow cases and towels were spotless. Nice clean and fresh. The pillows even had pillow protectors in them. Our room needed an vacuum over but we were only there for 1 night , toilet and shower separate a bonus. Breakfast adequate plenty of choice. If you dont want a 4 star for the money would recommend 👌 staff friendly...
