Take the whole family to Tokyo DisneySea® for an experience like no other. This fantasy theme park is part of the Tokyo Disney Resort, but it is unlike any other Disney park in the world. Here, the myths and legends of the oceans come to life, with seven fantastical areas to explore. From Mediterranean Harbor, where you can float down Venice-style canals on gondolas, to the Arabian Coast and the magical world of Aladdin, there are memories to be made at every turn.
It is hard to choose where to visit first in Tokyo DisneySea. Kids will delight in the Mysterious Island, found deep inside the huge volcano in the middle of the park. Climb inside Captain Nemo’s submarine and explore the weird and wonderful life that exists at the bottom of the ocean, or hop into one of his science vehicles to travel to center of the earth.
Adults will enjoy the sophistication of the Mediterranean Harbor’s restaurants, where the Japanese love of good food is evident in the a la carte restaurants. Marvel at the spectacle when boats and water fountains put on a show in the harbor.
If your children have an adventurous spirit, the Lost River Delta will fill them with wonder. Ancient temples hidden in the depths of the simulated Central American jungle are the perfect place for your little Indiana Joneses. Hop onto thundering roller coasters and venture deep into ruined temples.
Don’t miss the Tower of Terror, an old haunted hotel where strange things happen. It is located in the American Waterfront, a 20th-century New England-style harbor town, and there are also excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Some are even located inside the huge S.S. Columbia steam liner.
The fun never stops in Tokyo DisneySea, which is open daily from morning until late evening. Take the train from Tokyo to Maihama Station in Tokyo Disney Resort, and from there hop on the Disney Resort Monorail to Tokyo DisneySea Station. Alternatively, it’s a 20-minute walk.
