Whilst all of your collegues we meet when we have stayed previously have honestly been amazing, Ryan was flawless: it’s sometimes hard to know what makes something ‘extra’ in a place so already brilliant but he has it. "Absolutely amazing stay. From the start when we entered the hotel until the end. Amazing comfortable room, perfect food and loads to do for families. Pool is a must visit if you are holidaying there. Great inspirations for Halloween decoration - which our daughter found very inspiring and interesting. We hope to come back again hopefully for longer then 2 days.Special thank you to great team and amazing service from concierge and restaurant. Great welcome and help from Mrs Jarmila Kubicova. She gave us loads of tips to visit around the Newport. Thank you again. "

"I’ve stayed in a few inexpensive hotels over the years. This ranks among the best. Start with the negative. Room not quite ready on arrival but they did allow me to leave my case. One towel was slightly damp but this wasn’t an issue. I’ve never been expected to pay extra for my tea, coffee and kettle. Positive’s. The reception were very friendly and helpful but also managed to be professional. The room was prepared very well. The housekeeping staff were obviously working to a high standard the ones I met were very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the shower, although basic, was easy to use and effective. Apart from the lack of tea making equipment everything that you expect was there. The lighting was very well done which may seem s small point but made the room feel more pleasant, as did the efficient heating. One more point. The hotel is quite well located and seemed quiet on my visit. I’ve never stayed in any of this chains hotels. They are high on my list now though. Recommend."

"We stayed in the Marriott for one night, we werdd ed down Cardiff to watch a show, from the moment we arrived at reception they were very welcoming, our room was immaculate on 7th floor, no noise very comfortable. We also had breakfast which I couldn’t fault, lots of breakfast choices, plenty of tea anc coffee on hand, the waiter service was faultless and the young girl that served coffee was so kind, would definitely stay at this hotel again"
