"This is a boutique hotel just a block away from the famous Plaza de Marimba and nine blocks away from the Cathedral. Rooms are clean. The amenities are very basic. They give two small bar soap and a little bottle of shampoo. They give one complimentary bottled water. Linens and towels show signs of aging. Room has air-conditioning system that works well. The bed is firm. They have a safe for your important items. Wi-fi signal is not really good in the room where I stayed so I opted not to use it...

"Clean, cheap and cheerful. It is in the absolute out skirts of the city, so without a car there is no where to go to eat within walking distance. We realized that it is probably well positioned for tours who just need a nice place to crash before leaving early the next day (easy in and out of the city). Nevertheless, the hotel staff were wonderful and went out of their way to get us a taxi, keep our food in the fridge, wake us up in the morning, etc."

"Rooms were rather small, but a nice place to stay if you are on the road headed south to Guatemala. Be prepared if you bring a pet to pay 300 pesos extra. The Restaurant is Totally GREAT. Awesome, black and white themes are dull, I think in Tuxtla Gutierrez with the Zoque Indians, Chamula they could bring in color, and lift the ambience to COLOR splahs."
