"1 night stay in November. Easy walk to old town, lots of restaurants close by. Only complaint would be the noise level. Hotel construction in the day and the bar underneath at night (till quiet late). Perhaps that's why there is complimentary ear plugs?"

"Star Lodge is a little way out of the centre of Utrecht but is conveniently located close to a bus line which takes you into the centre in a few minutes. The rooms are relatively basic but are large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful, although they did forget to tell us about the honesty bar until we were about to leave. "Lovely hotel 30 min walk from centre of Utrecht. Very polite and helpful staff. The pool looked inviting but I hadnt swim gear with me. The gym is very basic and too small and too hot. Bar area was lovely. Traffic from the busy road can be heard in the mornings if youre not used to such noise."
