"I just returned home from a 5-night stay at the Hilton Vacation Club, The Modern Honolulu and it was amazing! The property is clean, modern, and quiet, and the staff are very helpful. I loved that there are free daily activities, like lei making and hula classes! The hotel is about a 25-minute walk from Waikiki Beach, and a 10-minute walk from the Ala Moana Center, so it's in a good location overall. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Nice to be RIGHT on the water/beach. No hotel seating, typical for beach services to provide umbrellas and chairs for rent. Great food available on the property, with hundreds of other options very near. Our favorite thing was the ABCstore right on the premises. So much variety from salads to sweatshirts and sunscreen. Rooms nothing special but nice enough. We had to pay for room upgrade to get partial ocean view and would recommend it. We did ask if the fee could be waived r/t our gold One...

"Very clean, room service came in every day. Beautiful ocean front room that was modern and made us feel like home. Everyone we came across was friendly and they had a bunch of shops and Starbucks in the resort which made it so convenient for us. This rendered our ocean view balcony unusable. We paid a premium price for a room we were unable to appreciate. If you have read this far, please do not book any odd numbered room. The even numbers will be much quieter, as long as the construction on the Surfrider side is complete. Hotel is definitely showing its age,...

"We loved the Surfjack. What a fun little hotel ticked onto a side street right off the main drag in downtown Waikiki. The rooms were comfortable and cute. We loved the live music every night, the restaurant and coffee shop onsite and the friendly front desk staff. We even got to meet the hotel mascot, Jack the bulldog, during his meet and greet. The coffee by the pool in the morning was great, too. We would definitely stay here again. "
