"Our room was clean, spacious, and had a fine view of the sea. The hosts were affable and eager to help, and the food was excellent. There is a large outdoor swimming pool nearby with a heated section that is well worth investigating."
"Pros:
- Very Clean
- Spacious Flat
- Very Smart Kitchen
- Comfortable Bedding
- Very Modern Bathroom
- Close to the town and Sea
- provided us Fresh Bread, Bacon and Better
Cons:
- This is a basement Flat and should have been listed as one
- It can get rather noisy upstairs with banging and a dog running around
- If you are afraid of Dogs, although the connecting door upstairs oppsoite the bathroom is locked, there was a few times the dog was heard near the door.

"Staff were really nice!
The window in our room was too high, can’t really see what’s outside. The room felt very small because of how the windows were positioned. "

"My family and I had a fantastic holiday at Honeysuckle Cottage. The location is perfect - a peaceful countryside haven after the excitement and bustle of St Ives harbour. Being a rural setting it is beautifully quiet and great for sleeping. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a holiday in this stunning part of Cornwall. The walk into St Ives was one of the most enjoyable parts of our stay, with spectacular views over Carbis bay and the harbour as you approach St Ives (around 35- 40 mins on foot). You can also take the train from Carbis bay for one of the most stunning coastal train rides in Britain (less than a couple of pounds for a return ticket). Ian and Sue are lovely hosts - attentive and kind without ever being intrusive. They are always on hand and are very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Honeysuckle Cottage as a wonderful place to stay and to explore St Ives, Carbis Bay and the whole south west of Cornwall. "
Peaceful coastal property with large garden. Unbeatable views of sea and moors.
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely property, really comfortable and with great facilities. It’s in a brilliant location, with gorgeous views and Pauline couldn’t do more as the host. We would definitely come back and stay here again. "
"The room was comfortable, particularly the bed, although we did find some broken plastic under the sheet, not sure where it came from.
There was no hot water from the sink even after running the tap for a while and the cistern to the toilet kept running after it had filled up.
Saying all of that we would probably stay again."
Witness the work of a celebrated sculptor in her St. Ives home, where she experimented with new materials and made works that were inspired by the Cornish landscape.
