"The rooms are a little shabby, although they are refurbishing- hence no lift at present. The staff were very helpful, rooms clean and had everything we needed. Good location at the top of the steps by the whalebones, parking is a headache as on street parking is expensive from March to end October, hotel car park was full. "

"Initially booked into room 7 ( annex) . Hadn't fully appreciated the access issues / stairs / downstairs toilet/ wardrobe. Staff were brilliant and moved to room 15 inside hotel immediately. Friendly staff , great food and only 1.5 miles from Whitby . ( Although Park and Ride does not start until Spring) . Would certainly book again ."
