Top Yucatan Peninsula Hotel Reviews

Ocean Riviera Paradise All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"The staff are wonderful, the hotel has a lot of activities for the kids. The pool area and wild life like monkeys, coates, iguanas are fun for the kids to observe.
However, our biggest disappointment was the beach, not just feet high piles of seaweed from never ending seaweed coming ashore, but the shore itself was rocky, getting in passed seaweed took effort, cutting feet at the bottom. Just very disappointing to be honest as we are beach people and not pool, and no where online was this mentioned.
If you dont care for the beach, then this resort is for you:)
Overall a great stay still! "

Emporio Cancun Optional All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Clean, modern hotel with class. Very good, fresh and tasty food with beautiful presentation; much better than anticipated (from my previous experiences in a 4star in Mexico). Checkin and checkout was quick and efficient. The only issue is a dire lack of palapas or other shade at the beach (10 palapas for a hotel that size?!) and the hotel layout was a maze on day1 - they should be handing out a property map."

Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice love it there however booking with this app was annoying and the transportation service with this app is horrible "

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen Adults Only All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Overall had an excellent stay. It’s a beautiful premises, perfect location, and the staff are very good. We had an ocean view room as an upgrade and was definitely worth the extra $$$. Only reasons for not 5 stars is the lack of swimmable beach (there is a small beach area but no swimming). While the food overall was excellent (both buffet and à la carte), I did pick up a small bout of food poisoning from my dinner one evening. Still overall we were very happy with our stay and can happily recommend this all inclusive in PDC. "

"Clean property"

Seadust Cancún All Inclusive Family Resort
10/10 Excellent
Muchas gracias!!"

Sunscape Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Spa by Hyatt
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent resort. Clean, friendly staff, great food and entertainment. "

GR Solaris Cancun & Spa - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"Staff is friendly but all depends on how often you tip. Rooms are small, fitness room is small, half the equipment doesn’t work properly. No upgrades available unless you have a membership through Solaris. Walls are poorly insulated so you hear everything. Food is below average, both my wife and I got sick from the food. Spend the extra money and go to a nicer hotel. "

Temptation Cancun Resort All Inclusive - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"We had a great time during our stay! The food is good, the drinks and bartenders are great! There is no cheating out on the drinks for sure! Everything is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is definitely catered to partying, there are a lot of lifestyle people since it is top optional- which was no problem to us, but even being in the lifestyle my whole adult life I have never encountered people who partied so much. I’ve been to spring break in Cancun and live in a college town and never have saw so many people partying so hard for so many days in a row. The quiet pool is a hack if you want to calm down and just enjoy your vacation.
All the improvements I would recommend are ones that the hotel goals wouldn’t align with. The beach area isn’t huge, but was empty most days anyways so you have your pick of chairs. I would say it lacked other activities other than drinking, there is a small pool room, but didn’t see it in use much. And the rooftop bar is really nice, Diego was a great bartender!
The timeshare aspect is a bit much, they talk you into signing up for a breakfast meeting and they take a $20 deposit that you get back at the meeting-honestly just loose the twenty dollars and count that as payment for not having to listen to the spill.
They let you check in early and out late and have access to everything which is really nice! "
