"We have used this hotel a few times and always been very pleased with it. However this time, the room we were allocated was far too close to reception and main area. (I did request quiet room away from traffic but didn’t anticipate being disturbed by other noises). We were hearing the staff chatting, laughing etc early morning and the swing doors nearby were really annoying as they were used regularly and were quite noisy and late in evening and early morning was obviously more noticeable and...

"Lovely night staying over at Friars Wynd a beautiful little find entering through the bar entrance to our boutique room upstairs “Katrine” was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! The small sink was pretty powerful and we accidentally forested the tap over the sink bowl. Staff on check in gave the warmest welcome detailing everything we needed to know. 100% recommend this lovely place slap bang in the middle of Stirling. With easy access to the train station and shops."

"I don’t normally review hotels unless they are outstanding and this hotel was. Amazingly large room just outside main hotel. Ordered food to take back to room and couldn’t fault it. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Nice breakfast too. Would recommend and definitely stay here again. Thank you. "
